• The Clinical Information Technology Solutions (CITS) Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible Execute IT Solution technical implementation including architecture design, installation, application customization and user training, in the absence of local expertise. Provide consulting support in informatics solutions products. Work with the Application and service teams to integrate instruments to Middleware for MEA region. Lead and manage IT solution implementation. Ensure timely delivery of IT solution implementation and proper hand over to local teams.

• You will be a part of the MEA Marketing team and report to the WITS Product Manager responsible for Lab middleware and all communications on lab solution, Participates and gives training courses for customers, Work closely with regional/local team to protect, maintain and grow company business with an effectively focus on the support of the installed base, Identify potential customers to develop case studies and work with marketing to ensure these case studies are produced and of good quality.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead/participate in implementing large clinical process change initiatives across the clinical setting in ambulatory, out patient and inpatient departments
• Provide application support, troubleshooting, support training needs, unit reporting or departmental analytics activities.
• Ensure that the relevant teams are updated/trained on the latest solutions.
• Participates and gives training courses for customers.
• Creation of IT best practices library for the customer, including customer shareable rules libraries and Automation metrics
• Responsible for Automation applications, lab middleware and all communications on lab solution.
• Develop the IT environments for laboratory automation.
• Work closely with regional/local team to protect, maintain and grow company business with an effectively focus on the support of the installed base.
• Communicates the technical and clinical information, ensuring customer use the IT tools with efficiency and skill in appropriate applications.
• Should act as a trusted advisor for the client and oversee the effectiveness of the solution offered and its competitiveness level by continuous assessment of the sales team to ensure exceptional performance of the Beckman Coulter solution offered.
• Work closely with KDM and understand the needs of the organization by deep diving into the current processes in laboratory operations and look at room for improvement to align solution strategy to customer needs and expectations.
• Provide consulting support in informatics solutions products.
• Will work directly with the Application and service teams to integrate instruments to Middleware for the whole MEA region.
• Accountable for the successful completion of project tasks on time and within budget.
• Identify new needs and provide related solutions not initially identified by the customer.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum of 5 years, experience in the IVD industry with consultancy selling preferred

• Bachelor,s Degree in laboratory sciences, Informatics or Biomedical is required.

• Understand laboratory needs and technology changes in that field from accreditations and policies.

• Strong understanding in the clinical IT within hospital and laboratory environment.

• Experience in Healthcare IT Protocols (HL7, ASTM…Etc.).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Strong Communication skills.
• Strong internal and external networking skills with ability to develop and enhance long term.
• Problem solving and negotiation.
